who i am

Happy National Blueberry Pie Day!

Who I am:

I am the luckiest girl in the world. I have two amazing parents, the best siblings you could ask for, and I have been blessed to experience different cultures and places across the nation. We have always moved from one location to another at the perfect time - we always feel like we were able to experience it to the fullest, and that it is time to move on.

I am loved. Along with my immediate family, I have 80+ extended relatives that I feel close to, I know I can always look to them for support. I have friends at school and at church who are absolutely amazing, and I know that I will always have a ward family wherever I go.

I am a dreamer. I make crazy plans, start impromptu hobbies, I sit there staring at the wall in my own little world. I positively love reading, and I love finding impossible stories in the world around me. That chip in the wood right there, that is a result from an epic battle that took place in my bedroom only a week ago. The fairies simply wiped my mind clean, thus leaving me to create even crazier explanations as to why things are the way they are.

I am a learner. School has always been enjoyable for me, and I have always done well. My dream job would be being paid to go to school, to always be able to learn. I have an unquenchable thirst to learn everything and everyone, I absolutely love this world I reside in.

Along with this,

I am human. I make more mistakes in the first two hours of my day than I can count. I almost never complete my goals, I make decisions knowing full well that they are wrong, and I am not who I want to be. However, I am a learner. I can be slow, I can revert, but I am constantly searching for solutions and I receive mini bursts of passion every once in a while to keep me going.

But most of all,

I am a daughter of God. I know that He loves me, and everyday I try to love Him more and more. There is no way I can ever return the same amount of love that He has given to me, and that is just motivation to serve Him further. I have been given a beautiful earth and a beautiful body, both of which I must take care of. I know that He loves me so much that He has given His only begotten Son, and that Christ is my best friend. He is my brother, and my comforter, He is the one I can turn to in times of need. I know that I have been blessed with many tools to help me stumble along: my family, my Church, the scriptures, and most importantly, prayer. I love being able to speak with my Father at any time and in any place, and I know that this blessing is available for everyone.

Who are you?

xoxo,
McCall
