Happy Frog Jumping Day!
Or, as you are more likely to be familiar with, Happy Mother's Day!!!!
Today it's gonna be all about meh momma. Leslie here is a pretty nifty lady. She is the oldest of seven siblings and grew up in Salt Lake. She is "twenty" years old and gets more beautiful every year:)
My mother is such a rock in my life. I do not always realize it, but I rely so heavily upon her, and she never tires of her responsibilities. She has sacrificed so much, from the last piece of cake to missing an event of her own to support us. She was thrown into the world of Motherhood from the moment she said "I do", and I cannot think of anyone who is more capable. She has such a loving, sweet heart. She has been my role model even before I knew what that meant, and I only wish to be like her someday.
Some of my favorite memories:
- Going to San Diego together for my 4th grade trip
- Having our Girls Night parties when the boys when to Priesthood session
- Picnics in the living room
- PB&J sandwiches
- Back rubs & playing with my hair.
- Lemonade stands and sidewalk art
- Watching her curl her hair every day
- Homecooked meals
- Stealing clothes from her closet
- Cuddling on the couch
- Making fun of her Utah accent
- Having her laugh at me - which, by the way, happens too often
Thank you mom!
Love you thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis much!
xoxo,
McCall
