Truth be told, failure isn't a thing. It can only exist through lack, as in a lack of success, and that is only determined when you stop trying. You will succeed at everything you do, so long as you work at it and believe in it for years, centuries, a millennia. It is similar to darkness. Darkness is not a tangible thing, there is no essence to it. Light, on the other hand, has a power, it can fill that empty space and become something.

You can never "fail". You simply learn a different lesson, become greater at something other than what you had originally anticipated.

And that is deep ish.
